Laura Dahlmeier ha vinto la sprint femminile di Obertilliach valevole per i Mondiali juniores di biathlon. La tedesca, perfetta al poligono, ha preceduto la russa Olga Podchufarova di 48″, bronzo all’austriaca Lisa Hauser a 57″9. Due le azzurre presenti: Annika Weissenegger ha concluso al quarantottesimo posto, Reneè Glarey al cinquantaseiesimo, entrambe con due errori.

Nella sprint maschile è la Russia a prevalere grazie ad Alexander Loginov davanti al norvegese Johannes Thingnes Boe e all’altro russo Maxim Tsvetkov. Ventesimo Giuseppe Montello che è risultato il migliore azzurro davanti a Benjamin Plaickner ventiseiesimo, Andreas Plaickner trentaduesimo e Thierry Chenal cinquantatreesimo.
